Stunning Custom Shop guitar, and arguably one of the most interesting guitars in the Custom shop lineup from recent year. The Mischief Maker brings both strat and tele tones to a guitar that is packed with quality hardware for one of the most versatile guitars Fender have ever made.
It is finished in Black over 3-tone-Sunburst, with lots of Beautiful ‘custom shop’ detailing that is difficult to capture on photographs, but expect lots of lacquer checking, and silky smooth road-worn neck – all from factory. Only thing to mention condition wise is a tiny bit of lifting on the pickguard (common with single ply) and a tiny hairline at one of the screws) – this is being exceptionally pick though and a brand new pickguard can be purchased for around £10 if required and they are easy to replace.
The top spec includes an Alder body, a comfortable and chunky 10/56 V-profile Birdseye Maple neck, Jescar jumbo frets, 9.5 radius, telecaster headstock, and vintage bridge/tuners.
The Bricenda Pineda handwound Custom Shop pickups sound superb and include a ’69 single coil in the neck, ’65 in the middle position, and a Texas Special at the bridge. It has strat blender/greasebucket controls plus a 5-way switch for plenty of versatility.
It weighs just 7lb 5oz and comes with its original case, COA, tags, paperwork, trem arm etc as pictured.
