The Blues Drive pedal is a true bypass pedal that brings the quintessential Texas blues sizzle and crunch that has been a staple in blues music since the 60s. It's very popular to slam the front end of a valve amp to get it really cooking with a drive pedal to add some compression and sustain it may otherwise be lacking.

The Blues Drive has two knobs - gain and tone. The gain ranges from no additional gain to a pleasant smooth drive tone. It doesn't get into heavy rock or metal territory unless it's being fed into a distorted amplifier. The tone helps to shape the frequency response. It can be an effective tool to warm up a tone for thicken a solo, or alternatively to brighten the tone to keep a typically clean amplifier from being too boomy in the bass, like they often can be when overdriven.

It has two 1/4 inch jacks on the side - one for the input, one for the output. It runs off 9v DC regulated supply and does not have an internal battery.
