A killer vintage shredder from Yamaha! We’ve just recently discovered these YG series guitars and our instant fans of their exaggerated Stratocaster style curves, sublime necks and premium components. A short lived model that (from what I am aware) wasn’t sold in European markets, so pretty rare in the UK!
A real swiss army knife of a guitar that can cover a huge range of sonics as well as being a comfortable and gorgeous looker! That vintage Yamaha decal has us drooling!

Our old YG is in very good condition, there’s a couple of cosmetic marks here and there but nothing unsightly. Frets have been freshly levelled and crowned. We have set the guitar up as a hardtail as 2 of the 6 fine tuners on the bridge have snapped off (see last picture), finding the replacement parts are basically impossible (believe me I’ve tried). Freshly set up with D’Addario 10’s and ready to go!
