The neck of this guitar is simply amazing. It features a flat profile and plays like a dream. Stainless steel frets adds to the top end features of this instrument. The figured maple neck has a fantastic tinted finish. It has been hand rubbed with a special wax and gunstock oil. This very special Music Man JP6 also comes with a limited PDN finish for 2015. The alder body has a very classy Vintage Tobacco Burst finish.
Custom Trem and DiMarzio Pickups.
Music Man don’t skimp on the hardware they fit to each and every one of their instruments. The Music Man JP6 PDN Vintage Tobacco Burst features a Custom John Petrucci Music Man floating tremolo. This when combined with the Schaller locking tuners keep the tuning rock solid. The trem is also beautifully weighted. DiMarzio provide the pickups in the JP model in the form of a LiquiFire in the neck position and Crunch Lab at the bridge. These are very high output humbuckers that provide plenty of punch and clarity. The middle position on the three way switch is custom wired giving you the two inside coils in parallel which gives the JP6 another string to its bow.
