Beautiful Quilted Ash Hollow Body

The Ibanez Artcore features a hollow body design crafted from stunning quilted ash, creating a beautifully unique aesthetic with a classic 50s style voice. The ash tonewood provides a sweet, airy twang, with plenty of resonance for singing chords and powerful punching notes. Its firm lows, pleasing highs, and slightly scooped midrange suits a range of playing styles, making it an extremely versatile instrument. For added acoustic projection, a duo of classic ‘F’ sound holes are also featured on the maple soundboard, providing a classic look that many guitarists associate with the 1950s era.

Smooth 3-Piece Neck & Ebony Fingerboard

As well as proving a resonant body with comfortable contours, a three-piece mahogany/maple neck is also incorporated for added comfort and an enhanced tone. This three-piece neck is mounted with a bound ebony fingerboard with acrylic block inlays. Ebony is a great choice for fingerboards, as its natural smoothness reduces finger fatigue ideal for fast playing styles, and provides the perfect platform for percussive styles such as tapping or hammer-ons. The wood also offers a very responsive bright, snappy attack with a smooth sustain, while It’s bound edges offer a smooth play and fluid hand flexibility across the entire neck.

Super 58 Pickups

The Ibanez AG95QA delivers beautiful tones perfect for jazz fans, with its choice of incredible Super 58 pickups which have been used by artists like George Benson, Pat Metheny, and John Scofield. This vintage choice of pickup delivers warm, balanced articulation, an excellent response, and a perfect tone for jazz guitarists. These pickups are capable of delivering a ‘jazz clean’ tone, as well as ‘blues-dirty’ for a versatile performance.
