Lowden 50th Anniversary WL-35

Bois de Rose has often been recognised as the ‘King of Madagascar Rosewoods’ Its distinctive rose colour is immediately striking and with age, will darken to a deep purple as we understand. While visiting one of our suppliers, a single back was sitting alone on a large table we walked passed and it immediately caught our attention. It’s a truly stunning wood, we’d never seen anything like it. The tap tone of the backs is superb. Similar to other species such as Brazilian, Cocobolo and Guatemalan Rosewood.
