Fender MIJ ’62 Reissue Telecaster Custom in Candy Apple Red

These Japanese Fender guitars are ace! This particular ’62 Reissue model is a top-of-the-line model from the Fender Japan range and has been in production since the ’80s. This Tele features a beautiful ‘Candy Apple Red’ finish, lightweight alder body, cream bound edges, Fender stamped Pat. Pend. bridge, 3-way pickup selector, and a pair of upgraded Fender Pure Vintage ’64 pickups!

Condition Report:

The guitar is in great overall condition with a few imperfections to the front and rear of the body. All imperfections are very hard to see/capture, and none break through the awesome Candy Apple Red finish. We’ve tried our best to photograph these imperfections but as mentioned, they’re hard to see under natural light. A previous owner created a small body route under the pickguard (presumably for a kill switch modification or similar), but this has since been professionally filled. Aside from this, the guitar is in fantastic condition with plenty of fret life remaining, electronics work as they should, and the guitar sounds amazing thanks to a pair of upgraded pickups.
