The Telecaster Custom goes hand in hand with the humbucker design with the original development of the Wide-Range humbucker being overseen by Seth Lover himself. The CuNiFe humbucker loaded into this capture that 70’s vibe perfectly with a rich low end and clear treble. Coupled this with the vintage spec Telecaster bridge single coil and you have bright, articulate guitar with a balanced and complimentary setup.
Condition is very good with some signs of use, very minor dings and scratches. It comes setup with 10-46’s in original case with paperwork.
Vintage Spec, Modern Quality
Fender has recreated as much of that vintage vibe as they can with this model from the year-specific neck shape to the ’70s-inspired pickups, even down to the screw placement. But it doesn’t have any of the problems that can sometimes be associated with vintage guitars thanks to the always stellar Fender USA quality.
