Stunning Custom Shop 1963 Reissue 50th Anniversary ES-335TDC finished in classic Cherry and with some beautiful figuring.
It is in excellent condition with just very minor blemishes that we have exaggerated under direct lighting to make them visible on the photographs – in reality, you won’t notice them.
It celebrates 50 years of one of the most iconic electric guitars from the Golden Age of Gibson Guitars. This incredible semi-hollow body has been extensively reworked, it features historically correct slim horns at the cutaway, thinner period-correct body, hand selected lightweight woods including the mahogany neck and correct “window” centre block, cedar rim lining, spruce back and top bracing, period correct wiring harness and “Black Beauty” capacitors. The neck profile has been painstakingly recreated to match the original, it is fairly thin at the nut and tapers beautifully to a more chunky neck at the 12th fret, the neck heel is smaller and also vintage correct. The ’63 ES335 comes with long studs and inserts that transmit more vibration and soul between the neck and body, ABR-1 bridge and lightweight tailpiece, Nylon saddles, tulip button single-line Kluson tuners and Burstbucker 1/2 humbucker pickups for exceptional tone.
It comes complete with its black with yellow lining case like the originals, and its paperwork.
It comes complete with its original plush ‘Historic Custom Art’ hard case (excellent condition with a slight crease in the top), tags and paperwork as pictured.
