It has no notable/nasty dings and just a couple of surface blemishes which aren't visible unless bouncing light onto the surface and closely inspecting - see photos). Everything works as it should without issue.   The flamed maple top of this Yamaha offers a clear, bright, focused tone. The 22-fret bound ebony fretboard and mahogany neck add some warm overtones and the solid block of wood that runs through this hollow-body guitar effectively prevents feedback. Despite its robust construction, the body is comfortably thin and the high-quality tune-o-matic style bridge and rugged Yamaha machine heads ensure great tuning stability. It has a comfortable slim profile neck, medium frets and 13.75" radius and is a joy to play. It has Yamaha Alnico V humbuckers that are known for their clarity, warmth, and punch, and it has push-pull coil splitting on its tone knobs, these pickups allow you to switch seamlessly between a fat humbucker tone and a bright, single-coil sound.
