Following two standout performances at Other Voices and supporting Sam Fender on the opening night of his tour in 3Arena, Wunderhorse have added a second show next August’s Wider Than Pictures concert series taking place in The National Museum of Ireland.

Wunderhorse (Jacob Slater, Harry Fowler, Peter Woodin and Jamie Staples) have seen their popularity snowball the old fashioned way; winning fans over through visceral live performances and Slater’s vivid songwriting. Their 2022 debut album ‘Cub’ saw them graduate from raucous basements to show-stealing support tours with the likes of Fontaines D.C, Pixies, and Sam Fender, and a packed-out Glastonbury Woodsies tent – all in the space of a year.

Their second album ‘Midas’ further captures the raw power and energy that has set them apart as one of the most formidable live acts of recent years. Rugged hooks, unfiltered noise, and fierce melodic sensitivity.

Support on the two nights will come from acclaimed band Shame who have been at the vanguard of the revival of guitar music in the last decade with their debut album ‘Songs Of Praise’ establishing itself as a modern classic, setting the bar for modern rock acts to follow.

Wunderhorse and special guests Shame will now play an additional date at the National Museum of Ireland, Collins Barracks, Dublin on Tuesday, 19th August 2025, as part of the Wider Than Pictures concert series (subject to venue licence).
