1990 PRS EG4 – Candy Apple Red

This rare and early vintage PRS EG4 is a highly versatile HSS style guitar finished in Candy Apple Red. It was built at the first PRS plant in Maryland, and offers fantastic value for money for a USA built PRS with hard case.

It’s in very good condition for its age with various blemishes and wear on close inspection – as pictured (many of which aren’t visible unless bouncing light onto the surface as we have done in the photographs to exaggerate them). Some wear to the freboard and frets from use but this is cosmetic only and not affecting playability at all. Everything works as it should without issue.

The spec includes an Alder body with a comfortable slim-profile bolt-on Maple neck, Rosewood fingerboard, Schaller tuners and tremolo bridge. It has its original pickups – a HFS at the bridge and then 2 Seymour Duncan designed single coils  – all controlled by a 5-way switch.

It comes with its original hard case, trem arm, and paperwork as pictured.
