The 336 is a gorgeous small semi-hollow electric from Gibsons Custom Shop. The beautiful highly figured Maple top is positively drool worthy, especially in the Tangerine Burst finish.  It might look like an ES-339 but the 336 is actually boasts full solid wood construction, chambered and arched for a different sonic palette than you’d expect from an ES lookalike.
The pair of ’57 Classic humbuckers deliver a huge amount of girth, letting that classic Mahogany and Maple construction do its thing beautifully whilst maintaining a tight and focussed mid range and a healthy amount of top end. The Slim Taper neck is comfortable and the high fret access is supurb. What’s not to love?
